{"id":122,"date":"2006-01-12T21:59:56","date_gmt":"2006-01-12T16:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wokay.in\/wp\/?p=38"},"modified":"2006-01-12T21:59:56","modified_gmt":"2006-01-12T16:29:56","slug":"no-best-title-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aadisht.net\/blog\/2006\/01\/12\/no-best-title-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"No Best Title Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I must confess that I am taken aback by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravikiran.com\/2005\/11\/29\/good-blog-names\/\">adulation<\/a> my blog title has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.haloscan.com\/comments\/spartiate\/113665541896148716\/#118921\">received<\/a> from so many <a href=\"http:\/\/azatlan.blogspot.com\/2005\/11\/pseud-level-funda-of-month.html\">quarters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Because frankly, I always thought that the funda- leave alone the humour- of the title would be appreciated by very few people. Let&#8217;s face it, despite the <a href=\"http:\/\/vinodg.blogspot.com\/2005\/02\/slisha-maajar-hajjaar-shady.html\">delightful nature and versatility of IITM lingo<\/a>, general junta doesn&#8217;t hold it in high regard. Those are the junta who&#8217;ve heard it, of course, so many people have not even had that privelege.<\/p>\n<p>The adulation is all the more unexpected because I never <em>planned<\/em> to call the blog MSAF. My blog title used to be plain and simple aadisht dot net before I switched to WordPress. When I ran the setup and WordPress asked me for a title, I couldn&#8217;t think of a title. Of course, when you can&#8217;t think of anything sensible to fill in a text box, you fill it with Maajorly Shadymax Arbit Fundaes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I must confess that I am taken aback by the adulation my blog title has received from so many quarters.
