I suppose being headquartered in a town named after the service you offer counts as priceless.<\/p>\n<p>A little Googling adds further information: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.epodunk.com\/cgi-bin\/genInfo.php?locIndex=1488\">the town was originally called Harrison&#8217;s Purchase<\/a>, because it was established on land bought by a dude called John Harrison. His motivation in doing this is not clear. It is also in Westchester County whose most famous residents are Professor Xavier and the X-Men.<\/p>\n<p>There doesn&#8217;t seem to be any information on whether MasterCard chose their headquarters on the basis of the name.
